2. What information is necessary to post an ad? - In order to post ads on Merchandise Select, you must first register with us. Registration is free and requires you provide us with your name, mailing address and a valid email address. However, this information will always be confidential and will not be included as part of your ad. It is only required so we are able to send confirmation of your request and to notify you when your ad has been posted. The information that will be included in your ad is determined by you when you complete and submit the appropriate form. As with any classified ad, you must provide some form of contact information within your listing so interested parties can reach you. Merchandise Select does not collect payments or arrange shipment or pickup of any merchandise offered on the site.

4. How long will my ad be posted? - When placing your ad you will have the option to choose how long you would like your ad to remain posted. You will automatically receive a notice three days prior to your ads expiration date. At that time you will have the option to renew.

7. Does Merchandise Select guarantee the content of the ads? - No. As a buyer, you must use the same level of judgment you would when using the classifieds of your local newspaper. All ads are published in good faith without verification. Merchandise Select is not liable or responsible for the content of any ad or for the validity or quality of any merchandise advertised.

9. How are payments processed? - Merchandise Select uses PayPal to process payments. PayPal is an eBay company and is the global leader in online payment solutions with over 35 million account members worldwide. PayPal enables any individual or business with an email address to securely, easily and quickly send payments online. The information you provide to PayPal when sending payment is not released to us. 10. Can Merchandise Select refuse to post certain ads? - Yes. All ads submitted are reviewed for appropriate content prior to being posted. Advertising on Merchandise Select may be used for lawful purposes only. Any information in violation of any applicable law or regulation is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, pornography and sexual related merchandising, material that is obscene, defamatory, constitutes an illegal threat, or violates any law. Our simple rule is, if you can't post it in the newspaper, you can't post it on Merchandise Select. In addition, we reserve the right to refuse to post any ad at our discression. If this should happen, you will be notified promptly and all payments received, if any, will be immediately refunded.
